What will the doctor say?

So i have trich for over 1 year now and i've only discovered i have it two months ago. Ofcourse i want this to stop, pulling hair makes my skin bleed sometimes which will leave marks. My mom wants to take me to the doctor and i'm fine with that but my question is what will they say? If any of you guys has gone through this, what did they do? Did they gave you therapy or did they gave you pills? I'm very curious cause i just want to know how they will help me..
