During my training and education, I dedicated much of my research to the study of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Habit Several Training and Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB’s), Eating Disorders, and Depression. During my traineeship and internship, I received specialized training and extensive experience working specifically with Anxiety Disorders, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors and Eating Disorders. I have experience treating adults, adolescents, and children and tailor each program to suit the age and cognitive development of each client. I have been practicing meditation and mindfulness for many years. I been featured in many world known media outlets, such as LA Times, The Wall Street Journal, KCRW public radio, NPR, The Seattle Times and The Marilou Henner Show. I have also been a speaker and Group Therapy Leader at the TLC Foundation Conference in 2011, 2014 and 2016, speaking about Mindfulness, Cognitive restructuring and Self-Care.
